Sometimes it's best for 3 best friends to be bears... Not those kind of bear.... I mean the "We Bare Bears" type of bears.
Show Notes Transcript
On this episode we meet, The Bears, Chayse (@bulkin_snorlax) and Travis (@______icebear_____), and explore juggalos, ruffling each others feather, anime, and gym motivation.
Speaker 1:
0:00
Hey guys, [inaudible] here and welcome to the podcast. I've got my main man pan and an ice bear here. Where do you get that? Hold on. Why don't you. Yeah,
Speaker 2:
0:12
a nice rhyme, but ice bear gets fricking chopped. Liver.
Speaker 1:
0:15
You tell me. You said it was a actual counterpoint. It was. I don't know what to say about that. I'm sorry. I'm disappointed in myself. Yeah, well maybe you should treat travis with the same amount of love that you showed.
Speaker 3:
0:44
Alright, well due to the second episode, high strength podcast where we talk about and then may powerlifting time. Anything else we want to talk about today is a very, very, very special episode because I got my two friends here. Are bears once a polar bear and one's a panda. Y'All can say hi now.
Speaker 1:
1:06
I mean I just enjoyed that you went with that was a nice allusion to our bear nature and I prefer ice bear. Not Polar bear, but that's close.
Speaker 2:
1:15
Uh, but I spell your name so you have to introduce your name when you introduce yourself. I'm sorry. Uh, my name is iceberg. Thank you.
Speaker 1:
1:26
My real name is travis. Scratch all this, editing this except leave him because I think it's enjoyable at this point or travis or ice bear. Stick with that, but ice. Travis. Oh Jesus. I like that. I'm going to switch to ige ice. Travis coming through.
Speaker 2:
1:46
It sounds like you're a hitman. Thank you.
Speaker 1:
1:48
So move all the pant. Yeah. Hey. Hey guys. A Pan Pan here and please lower your voice. You're yelling at us. It's very good. Mike was too close to my face and I was too enthusiastic for my intro. Um, my name is Pam Pan. I represent the panda. Have this relationship. My real name is chase and travis already told you that I didn't want real names, but fuck it. And uh, my ige is bulking. No, no, no. You know, I kept plugging yourself. Take two. Take two. Hey, pan pan here. I'm ready for the podcast.
Speaker 2:
2:37
Hey. Hey, pan. What's, what's, what's your instagram handle?
Speaker 1:
2:43
Let's, let's save. Let's save that for the end. I'm not trying to plug anything bulk and underscore snorlax or anything. Let's just stick around till the end of this. You will hear that pandas, analysts, bulk and underscores and relax and take three. Hey guys, pan pan here. I'm real name is chase. What's your age?
Speaker 4:
3:09
How, how did you get into a lifting?
Speaker 1:
3:14
Um, okay. So my very first lifting, it's like, okay, it's like two stages. First stage is that I was born into the military as in like I'm a military brat. My father was in the Marine Corps for like my whole life and he was always massive and you know, my father was like my first hero kind of thing, like who I looked up to. So, uh, he was massive and I wanted to be massive. And then stage two was like I was playing competitive street fighter and a, it was like 19 twentyish, a buck 50 a vegetarian and I looked in the mirror and I was like, I don't look like any of these characters I play and I want to. And then like, oh yeah. Also my dad gave me his first weightlifting belt. I should start fucking lifting weights. That's how it like my casual lifting started.
Speaker 4:
4:11
I like it, I like it a lot. That's a good origin story. I like that. It's okay. Four out of five bears now. Three out of five. I have room to improve. What about you? I mean, it was, it was an honest tail. So I've given four out of five. The bears. Uh, I didn't know where we're going so far back. So I guess I'll follow your lead. So I was born, I was born like most a baby bald. It was a little sensitive about that. So I thought, Oh, do I need to bulk up, do I do now? But really let's think, uh, in college, like I ran track and I was doing distance running every day probably for three or four years there I was running eight miles minimum a day. Yeah, absolutely hated myself. Nolan lights that at one point, like a senior year of college.
Speaker 4:
5:06
I'm a buddy of mine was kinda like a very casual weightlifter and he was like, you know, you like running, maybe you'd like going to the gym. So I started going to the weight room with him and it was just like way more fun than being outside running for two hours. So I was like, I would rather be in here and then I kinda got like a little bit of like the gym rat vibe thing and I enjoyed going to the gym and lifting. I had like no program, no, like I wasn't lifting intelligently at all, but I just enjoyed my time in the gym and then that sort of slowly like led me to want to get better at the gym and I like tapered off my running and had more time for gym. And then when I met ray she like wanted to get into, you know, lifting as well. But she was like doing the Brazilian Jujitsu thing and when she tapered off that thing, that's when I figured out that power lifting was the thing we really liked about him. So
Speaker 5:
5:58
we went from there. Um, grace, did you already tell your origin story? Tell your origin story. Gris. Actually, I don't know if I have, I don't because I listened to the first podcast and I can tell you you didn't.
Speaker 2:
6:11
Yeah. Well actually pretty much what it was was my dad was always a big guy. It was like a football player against school and then like just stayed big after. And then um, my mom was a professional boxer. She did like a lot of bodybuilding type style training before she was a boxer. So there's kind of no room for me not to be some kind of active. And when I was about 13, my dad came into my room and said, he's not gonna, you're not gonna have a panty for the son. So he took me to the gym like at four in the morning and then he kinda just made me left and I was kind of how it was for like the first month or two. And then I actually started liking it because I was like, Oh wow, I have a muscle now.
Speaker 2:
6:51
This is pretty cool. A download like a few months down the line I started being like one of the bigger people over that summer I kind of hit my growth spurt, so I was like 1,496 pounds, like five, 10 hot. So that was kind of like why I started lifting and then I got into power lifting because of youtube guy, like just kidding news. And the Dude Bart, one of the guys that owns a barbell brigade. Yeah, he talked about powerlifting a lot and I was like, oh, I want to try that. So I did. And I never looked back.
Speaker 5:
7:28
I did hear that story on the first podcast. So yeah. So you just said I just exposed as a liar everything you said,
Speaker 2:
7:42
but that's why I give the extra just kidding. News Info to make it a little more spice.
Speaker 5:
7:47
There you go. That was a good addition. Give them a little bit more every time. On the next episode, can you also explain your origin story? Just keep giving it a little bit more spice. Just make that Labor for a beautiful aroma of storytelling. Storytelling casserole. Yes. Precisely. Fuck yeah, that scrap everything except pans. Fuck yeah. That's always, that's usable so far. Just just that and a Senpai and dropping. And then just a couple of years ago it wasn't the. Yeah. Um, God, 2018 has gotten so politically correct. Insensitive, Oh my God, I'm so travis, um,
Speaker 4:
8:57
you, you like Anna may anime. It's lovely. I don't know, just trying to
Speaker 6:
9:03
keep this moment.
Speaker 4:
9:07
I mean, you know, my, my main gripe with, with anime is um, the Jews, he's like, oh, we've got a minute.
Speaker 2:
9:33
I was really hoping this hour would be, have some antisemitism and then you know. But wow, you really delivered
Speaker 4:
9:42
to clarify it wasn't antisemetic at all. I was saying I wish there was an anime. I think they're really underrepresented like toe Liebowitz can happen because some people out there just a little, a little rough around the edges toward my Jewish brothers, but you know, whatever,
Speaker 2:
10:08
you're being very inclusive.
Speaker 4:
10:12
I was being super inclusive and then you guys just went off the rails with your, your cis white male scum thing and you know, just we can't all be the same guy as the world is a beautiful melting pot. Accept others.
Speaker 6:
10:30
Yes.
Speaker 2:
10:31
Except the countries that are pretty homogenous. Yeah. Don't include them at all or they can stay awake, keep them out. So for the record you ice bear is saying that you're forced segregation.
Speaker 4:
10:52
I really like the loaded questions just lead with like, no matter how you answer, you're going to come off as a scumbag because if you did not feel like, wow, he denied that a little aggressively. I think he's for segregation and then it's like, really? I'm like, yeah, segregate things. They're gonna. Be like, wow, I think he's still for segregation. So how I'm going to handle this is I'm going to say,
Speaker 6:
11:14
uh,
Speaker 2:
11:16
I have no opinion on either confirm or deny
Speaker 4:
11:26
asking the questions. I didn't think these were going to show up. I mean, I think we should segregate and bears from the general public because they're dangerous creatures.
Speaker 2:
11:39
Shouldn't be stopped. Particularly pandas. Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 4:
11:43
I mean, what's the deal with bamboo? Am I right?
Speaker 2:
11:48
Can even pick aside. You're very undecisive being black and white and Asian
Speaker 1:
11:55
and just say that that has actually been a struggle in my life. Like being mixed race. Not like a huge struggle, but like socially in high school, like I was like, well, I'm 25 percent Filipino, so let me go hang out with the Filipino kids. No, they would not accept me. Um, they just kind of ignored me, so it was like I was like in their group, but just standing there like physically, like they would just not acknowledged my existence. So then I was like, oh, okay, uh, well I'm 75 wild, let me go join the KKK. And then they're like,
Speaker 4:
12:38
we're starting to feel like we're gonna make some actual progress content related to that. I feel like I've known like a ton of mixed people that kind of felt the same way and that was going to chime in, you know, as a white person, I think you don't really appreciate the plight of mixed person that much into like really talk to them about them at length as an adult. And then you're busy over here. Joining the KKK is like, it takes a lot of wind out from under the sales of the, uh,
Speaker 1:
13:15
of the whole argument. Uh, they wouldn't accept me either though, is the whole brownish.
Speaker 4:
13:24
I mean, you're not that our kids can we briefly discussed when you're putting this together, Senpai and editing it, I want you to get rid of your usual banner with the Senpai strength from the episode number and just have that picture of panda and the pool where his buddy is like chomping on his. But what a great picture.
Speaker 1:
13:42
That's. I mean he was been into for that. She was going to pick up. Take out of that bubble. Yeah. Shout out to vinny. He's not afraid to do gay stuff for me. Like a three. Oh, eight big. I think he, yeah, I think he's, I think he's top 10 in the 300 leads for his, I don't know, power thing guys. I'm so sorry. Um, but whatever. What do you guys have leagues? The Leagues. Allegiance. Okay. His, his powerlifting legion. I think he's tucked in. So he said, yeah, he's a monster of a man. But um, and yeah is totally straight but not afraid to be gay for camera if you know, I'm talking about like Kai Greene and the grapefruit. I'm exactly not like that at all. Gotcha. Gotcha. It's just, just for clarification. Yeah. Um, I don't think he does gay for fruit simply. Have you been able to use any of this that we've done? He just
Speaker 4:
14:52
tagged us in something so he posted some shit onto instagram
Speaker 2:
14:56
while you're on your phone while we're recording our podcast. Wow.
Speaker 4:
15:01
Posting Shit.
Speaker 2:
15:05
Just because it's content for me to post because I need to post
Speaker 4:
15:10
nice in the and I need to absorb content because I'm a content sponge so that we have. Here we have. Okay.
Speaker 2:
15:19
Checkmate. I spare. Thank you for making me look like an idiot in front of everybody.
Speaker 4:
15:24
You don't want to click an idiot. You look like our valiant leader as always. Grants. I just got to keep your, your bear rage in check. Otherwise you're going on a little rampage.
Speaker 2:
15:37
So how did, how did we all become friends? That's actually a good. How did we all become friends? That's a good question.
Speaker 4:
15:46
That's a great question. All right. I want to start because I'm really curious about chase's recollection of how he and I became friends, but I remember specifically talking to you, Sam by one night on instagram and you're like basically gave me a, an initiation test to join in on the sad, sad boys because I think you and you and Pan, we're already pretty close at that point and you were like asking me how I felt about some sad anime and some k drama and shit. And I basically had a good heart to heart with you and I was crying and being a little bitch and you're like, yeah, you're going to fit right in with. So that's how I got invited into this. The sad boys, Aka the birthday, Aka, uh, the alliance of theirs.
Speaker 1:
16:33
That's exactly what happened because I was on the other end of that man Senpai are already talking about forming sad boys. And he was like, I'm will. Travis is kind of a sad boy. And I was like fielding questions to him to funnel to you. And then getting the answers back. And as a collective we were trying to decide if it was, if it was good. And uh, yeah, you passed buddy. Good job.
Speaker 4:
16:59
Thanks. So I was trying to remember because I was thinking about what we're going to talk about during this chase where you already like my, my sort of coach at that point. Like had you already like given me like a bodybuilding program or was that before? I couldn't, I couldn't remember which came first. That's tricky.
Speaker 1:
17:20
So in my mind, my first interaction with you was I don't, I don't even, I hadn't even added you on instagram as a friend yet. Um, I was already rockin Senpai strain, like talking to Senpai and I'm following. I'm Yo Kai. And then animal crossing came out for, for mobile and I was on and the animal crossing hype train. Everyone was. I mean let me take you back to late 2017 and crossing mobile just took over and I was, I was helping you out giving you some red snappers. Yeah, I was, I was fishing and I guess this was on yours but or yeah, I was fishing on yours or something. And you screen grabbed it and you sent me a DM. We were friends on it yet. Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. Screen grab. Oh, I'm sorry. Screenshot. Sorry. Grizzly greengrass screen grab is A.
Speaker 1:
18:31
I dunno, that's what we say at work when we have to do a screenshot and you can't and we don't need the whole screen. We just say a screengrab forget trade tech guy for his printer. Reading off. He's going to say screengrab. Okay. So first of all, I don't know how to work that fucking because I don't ever print from it. And for the women in my office to expect me to know how. Just because I'm a man. Fuck that shit. I'm a feminist. You fix your own fucking shit for breaking it. Okay. If you want my help, I'm just going to fucking call it. Do I look like fucking a printer? Mej level five training fix. No, I'm a fucking pharmacy technician. I didn't go to fucking print school. No. I applied for a test on the fucking pharmacy board to get my fucking tech license. Fix Hero. Fucking predator. So anyways, we were playing and friends yet on, on Instagram, but I get, I get a message from him and it's just a screenshot of me fishing with him next to me and he's like, uh, I forgot what the exact text, but he's like, Hey, I got your back. And then I was like, this is hilarious.
Speaker 4:
19:58
If I recall, this is like, like chase said, like everyone was on board, the animal crossing train and all the people were playing and everyone was wearing like the Mario hat and some nice stylish, solid colors, some normal normal stuff. They have your, your character dressing and chase and I were both wearing like pink skirts and like a rainbow shirt. Like we have some super flamboyant animal crossing characters. We had some pretty like a, for lack of a better word.
Speaker 1:
20:27
Uh, uh,
Speaker 4:
20:28
Hawaii parasols and yeah, I got the screenshot of that and I was just thinking like if this guy is anything like his character, uh, I would, I would gladly rub his glutes after squat. Nay.
Speaker 1:
20:43
That was beautiful. So yeah, so he messaged me. I, I literally laughed out loud and showed a, showed the he may, Misha my, and she was like, she was like, oh yeah, that's travis, that's a raise husband. He is hilarious. And I was like, well clearly he's hilarious. He sent me the screen cap and then like, yeah, just started like talking casually and then I don't know if sad boys was formed yet, but I saw you working out and stuff and you were like trying to hit bodybuilding poses and I was like, Ooh, let me reach out and help him with that. And then so I, yeah, I don't know where the timeline is with that, but around the same time as the formation of this ad boys, I also was like, hey, you want some tips and tricks in bodybuilding? And that's about it. Those tricks and I took those steps. You made gains. You did make games though. You really did. I have lost them all. Stupid animal shelter dogs for your bleeding heart. You had to sacrifice that newly formed. Nice ass. Hey, I'll have, you know, I just did some body measurements is actually bigger even though I dropped 20 pounds. You're welcome. Yep. Thanks buddy. What you're saying is that's pants button because he built it up, built it. So it's mine. It is, it is now and forever a pair of pancakes. And you're here to here. No one tested. It is. Yup. Alright, so we got the origin story of you two,
Speaker 1:
22:30
but whatever. Me Too. Uh, okay, I'll, I'll, I'll do that. Um, so he may,
Speaker 1:
22:42
I got it. I don't think people call her. He may be the only one to do that. Michelle Michelle know everyone on fucking instagram knows there as mentioned my or my, but she was like, I'm really into instagram, like fit, fit, blogging, blogging, whatever, on instagram and like out of nowhere she's like, oh, I'm talking to this dude. He's a power lifter. And I was like, Oh, who cares? It powerlifters that was back when like I was still at a different jam whereas like all bodybuilders, I hadn't talked to any power lifters and he's like, oh he's really cool. And I was like, that's weird guys talking to you online, but it's cool, I didn't care. And then like a couple of weeks ago, like she gets like, she gets like the shoe, these shirts and I'm like, oh, those are cool shirts, where'd you get? Those are just like, that guy, he's just thrown to me.
Speaker 1:
23:33
And I was like, who the fuck is this guy? And, and like, uh, she's like, oh no, I'm gonna like, he's, he's cool. He's a pilot there. And I was just like, what the fuck? Because before that, like no one had hit us up. Like I didn't know that you just dm everyone on Instagram, be friends. Like I didn't know that there was like a small Otaku lifting circle being formed. I didn't know any of that. I just knew like this guy was sliding into her dsms and looking at the thickness and I was threatened. And who messaged you first? I don't think so. Yeah, sure. Try to blame her or whatever. And I'm good at.
Speaker 1:
24:17
So I was like, okay, like I'm uh, I'm gonna give this guy a piece of my mind one day. And then so, um, I, by then I'd moved to like a more piloting type gym, wasn't as many bodybuilders. It's like, oh, okay, I kinda get like this lifestyle, I guess. So I did like a heavy double, I don't remember the way it was probably like either like four, 15 or 800 pounds, I can't remember, but it was for a double. I just tagged Senpai on it and was like, do I commit a depth or higher acuity? And he was like die. And I was like, oh, okay. So he wants me out of the period and cool. No, but um, that's how we started talking and then your, your metal show was like, I think a week later. So I still, I really didn't really know you when she was like super excited to go and I was just like, ah, never met up with anyone online before.
Speaker 1:
25:19
So it was just like, well I take that back. I have but not from instagram. And I'm was just like, no. And then like he came up and he was like a barreling six, one giant, like long hair plucking thick and like looking good and like, oh damn, like I had to wear like my, I made sure to wear like one of my smaller shirts to get, you know, the guns real tight on the sleeves, let them know who's boss. And then, uh, from there, like we locked eyes and he whispered something with his mouth or to me. And I was like, oh, I think she's into me. Not, not nationwide. That's where from that, I mean, and now we're here on the podcast. That's how I remember it.
Speaker 5:
26:10
I seamless flawless to me. I don't see what would be, what would it be incorrect about any of that. A 100 percent accurate. Yep. Um, what about, what about east and Pi? What do you, uh, what's your perspective of that? But he just left us. He. Wow. Wow. Well, like, let's do a voice through the vapors. I mean, he go get
Speaker 4:
26:44
a break acres to calm themselves down. He's laughing. She was just reminiscing and he's like, God, yeah, that guy, he walked up and his shorts were really fucking short for a matter that night. Yeah. I'm looking dapper in like a nice suit and tie and stuff. Or like your honor Kigo is really. I'm talking about squats only. My friend Pan was probably wearing like an Abercrombie shirt, like seven sizes too small and some shorts that balls completely out and I was like, God, those are. Those are balls are smooth smoothies, eggs and roll around. It's like you were there. Yeah, I was on the other side of the street. There's that misinformation. Debatable, but okay.
Speaker 2:
27:45
Some but not much. Okay. Now I'll clarify it here in a bit, but I want to hear Travis's ice bears his thoughts on how we met,
Speaker 4:
27:59
uh, how, how you and I met like in real life for the first time
Speaker 2:
28:04
both. Okay. How we became acquainted and then. And then we can do the real life things because Jay, because we're going down that route with Ben.
Speaker 4:
28:14
Yeah, I mean I, I think it's fairly similar to a hand story in terms of how we became roughly acquainted on Ige. I mean, you were. Oh, how's that? Well, I mean, you know, he, he was busy online be built brand building and the Ndcs Iron Yo Kai. And he's like, I'm to, I'm going to send her some goods and I'm like, who's this guy sending? And there's some shirts and then there's some, some other shirts and then there's some more shirts and I'm like, man, her closet is all, some other dude's name. She doesn't have shirt travis on them. So to tell me your first interaction with him was he was a DNA thing. Your wife, it seems like he slides into a lot of the way. That's the way that happened was. No, yeah, go ahead.
Speaker 2:
29:16
Come across her instagram right now. I was like, wow, this person likes powerlifting and I'm going to wait until my reins bigger til I, I approach right. But then there was a mutual that um, there was a mutual that followed I guess both of us. Right. That light gray followed too. And I was like, like this person's pretty cool too, but her smaller so I'll send her something and maybe she'll post it and it'll be, it will be good. So that happened and then I guess got raise attention. She likes himself and then we did that whole like instagram, like, like back kind of like dancing, you know, and then was like wow, this. And I was like, this person's really cool. And then me and ray had it off and those kind of like the end of the thing there. And then with Michelle, I really don't know.
Speaker 2:
30:14
I think, I think me and her talked about it and I think it was like when I was playing around with like instagram ads and I was targeting like Austin and she had saw the depth shirt. So that's how we started talking. But the whole time talking like, well these people are pretty cool but I'm not gonna. But I always thought it was like, because I think they had mentioned right, like, like husbands and I was like I'm going to keep a distance. And like there's no way that a husband or a boyfriend can be be okay. So as soon as I have opening where the line of communication open, I'll go through it. Just show that there's no, there's no ill intent when that didn't happen for a good while. And I was like, Huh, this is interesting. So like on Michelle's thing she's talking about going to the show, right?
Speaker 2:
31:03
And I was like, and so the first time I actually really talked to chase was there, so then it was like, so he came and I was like, so this is the first time we're meeting. So it was cool. But then upon meeting chase I was like, wow, I think I just met my best friend. Oh God dammit. Baby's adorable. Yeah, it was. He was a, he was a fellow thick boy. He wasn't afraid to be cute. He had colorful, whimsical anime stuff. Liked anime. Yup. No. And all that kind of stuff. And then he had like a, like the, that, that horror enemy another. He had like a crazy. Okay. Now another backstory. So then he wasn't intriguing as well. Get to know me, so it was like, wow, this guy is awesome. And then that's how we became friends and then we started finding out that we're fellow sad boys and we got even closer. Oh yeah. And then I was talking to ray at the same time and she had said, oh wait, travis is kind of a sad boy too. He likes, he likes boy things. And I was like, you don't say could go on about sad boy nature because you can be a sad boy now. But if you think of you're a sad boy the thing. So your ally in April is the saddest thing ever. Then you're, you're not part of our
Speaker 1:
32:22
are the tests. What do you think about that enemy? And you'd be like, well I think it's a shitty mess. Representation of like sad enemy. Then I probably would just suck your Dick Right there.
Speaker 2:
32:34
Yep. That's exactly exactly
Speaker 1:
32:36
what I would have shaved. So it's really a mean good and slash or men
Speaker 4:
32:40
saying that you didn't ask that.
Speaker 2:
32:42
Yeah, thank God. For me, that was pretty much how like ours things were. But it was funny because I was friends with ray and Michelle first, so it was like, I think this can look really, really bad, but nothing has happened yet. So
Speaker 4:
33:02
we'll see what the fuck boys that tried to slide into. I'm Nisha. Mies DDMS. Not all y'all can do it like Senpai did and uh, just know Seo. So you, uh. Oh. And to answer the second half of your question, Sam poppy, uh, how we met in real life was very recently. We obviously live on opposite sides of the country. Well, like a thousand miles away. And uh, we met at anime expo.
Speaker 2:
33:41
The country.
Speaker 4:
33:43
Yeah. Even even further away from both of our usual homes and we were staying at a lovely building.
Speaker 2:
33:52
I really liked that actually.
Speaker 4:
33:54
Yeah, it was nice. It was a second. It was a second floor apartment condo thing and I see these stairs and I'm like, God, I'm going to climb these stairs and I'm going to meet grades because at that point we'd obviously been talking for a good seven, eight months, like everyday online with, with Pan Pan. And I was very excited to meet you. And I got the bags and I had already consulted with chase on, on how to physically greet you. I was like, do I go for like a really rough, aggressive sexual bear hug or do I just like lean in to do a business handshake? And I set up the camera to capture all of it. And uh, I think it was, it was a nice middle ground somewhere in between professional handshake and an aggressive sexual hug,
Speaker 7:
34:39
I feel like every time and meet up with Senpai like more sexual every time. Almost like a, a one up. Like the first one was like a side hug. They were like, oh hey. And then like it's, we're at the point where it's like, it looks like we're making out like both, both hands on each other's backs, scratching each other. There's like purrs and shit going like this. I will look for the next time is what I'm saying.
Speaker 2:
35:13
He really needs to cut his hair. Really paid me as a deviant at first. So what you're saying is your first impression was trying to slide into the dms of ray and the human mind, which was true. That was your first balls and then it's like, wow. Every time we meet I feel, I feel I get more and more sexual hugs
Speaker 7:
35:41
again. I don't think I'm. These are facts. You're just repeating what I just said. Yeah, exactly. Right. So what is. What is your point that you're a deviant?
Speaker 2:
35:53
I think I'm a very wholesome.
Speaker 6:
35:55
Oh, okay.
Speaker 7:
35:57
That's, that's a really roundabout way to get there. Welcome to the bullshit podcast where we just bullshit each other, who we like to have us tell Ollie truths in one of us only tells lie it's your job by the end of this podcast. Figure out who's lying all of its allies. Griz. He's a fucking liar. Oh, what else did you want to ask us? Yeah, what would you want to ask us? Play Guy.
Speaker 2:
36:37
Honestly, it's pretty much just like lifting your enemy. I mean that was the main thing with amy's podcast. We just talked about like our backstories of anime and stuff like that.
Speaker 7:
36:46
We mostly already heard your lifting anime. For me, it's kind of whatever's one about y'all. Okay. Travis, I'm wise. Who? Who inspired you? Like what's the enemy? You go to that like, just like. Yeah, I'm ready to pick things up and put them back down.
Speaker 6:
37:06
Oh. Oh Man. That's tough. That's tough. Uh,
Speaker 7:
37:16
what do I think about the most? This will come back to me. This is going to be a lot of his dad's face. Let me, let me think about this because I can't need jerky. This is important. When I went to the basis of, you know, this is what people will associate you with. Anime. Yes. So please be sure to hit all of the um, but enemies like, oh, dragonball z of the Gita. No, he's just so great because I don't like dragon ball. I don't care. I said it. I don't like it. Look at these unpopular opinions. You can leave that in the show. I'll go on record. I don't enjoy it. I didn't watch it when I was a kid. So there's no nostalgia factor and I think it's garbage going back now. It's, it's unwatchable
Speaker 2:
38:05
well, like, I mean honestly, yeah, I have them installed a factor, like a, there's some fights where I like, but like I really can't watch it anymore if we're being completely objective. Right. Compared to other academy and stuff like that. The story is not that great. There's no really deep character development in any kind of way. There's no really, there's no depth really. Like it's kind of, Eh. I mean it's like I like, I like going to solve the fact. I mean I fucking watched it everyday as a kid and it was great and everything that. But going back to it like after watching other anime and like it has friggin actual character development deep plots that it's not just a linear African storytelling. It's kind of lackluster honestly.
Speaker 7:
38:51
At the top like, yeah, what you're saying with the nostalgia thing, that was really the only kind of action packed and it may like most people could get back then.
Speaker 2:
39:03
Yeah, sure. I understand why
Speaker 7:
39:04
dragon ball z was like the only one that was like killing people
Speaker 2:
39:09
or in blood. Nabi. Her good. And then just scroll like Das killing people and blowing. So that was on Toonami for the. For the masses. I'm just talking about gender, you know, actually did. I'm being very general here. You don't actually growing up, I never considered dragon was. The enemy is just a cartoon. Yeah. Like he was like pulling on enemy. Yeah.
Speaker 7:
39:35
Yeah. When I was really young I didn't differentiate and may from cartoons that were on. It's just like, yeah, there's like pokemon and there's Batman beyond. And then there's back in the other Batman that wasn't as good.
Speaker 2:
39:46
Cool. Batman beyond was fucking dope dude. Especially the joker and Batman. Beyond. He was cool. Yeah. Like you like the dreads? Yeah, it was pretty dope. It looked like a Juggalo. Looking back on it now those we probably isn't as cool as it was then. I told you earlier, I watched a documentary on the Juggalos as hydro boop, boop. I actually did watch it. I watch a couple of them on, on fucking youtube. Ended up in a juggler. Rabbit hole. Really content for a night.
Speaker 7:
40:22
Fun Fact. Like two of my friends. Uh Oh God, nevermind. I'm not going to tell that story, I'll just drop that.
Speaker 2:
40:33
You have to say you, you can, you can not see who they are. Nobody's going to
Speaker 7:
40:41
in high school. Like I fucking hated the Juggalos like how they reached Okinawa. I'll never know. But I mean, I guess know, yes, there was like three of them and two of them were like actually good friends of mine and I didn't think they were like closet juggle. I Dunno. They liked listening to the music, but I didn't think like they listen to the music, like to wear that identified with them until like one day. I don't know. It was like one of those last days of school things were like, I dunno, you can do whatever. I can't remember. I can't remember the occasion. No, they fucking got sharpies and sharpie clown face themselves. And I was like, oh my God, this is the most cringey thing I've ever seen. And like I didn't hang out with them that day. And do I feel bad now? I don't because I'm all about free expression of yourself and everything. But um, unless I feel bad for saying that because like how much I do preach on my fucking stories about people giving me shit for whatever, whatever I do, but I'm still a, I can't do the fucking Juggalo thing
Speaker 4:
41:58
and let's be honest, if you were dressing like a drug, although you would deserve shit if you were getting it.
Speaker 7:
42:05
Yeah. Cause, uh, I'm 26 and I think if I were a juggler 26 it was, it's probably still be living in my parents' basement listening to the ICP and going to what is their festival that looks gross every time. There's never, there's never not terrible foot. Technically it's called the gathering. Interesting. That is interesting. I wonder what it was like to play in front of a bunch of like white people dressing with white makeup. One can only assume the money was good for tech nine spring Figo on each other. And we were poor. I feel like at least he talking about this, I'm going to sound more and more like a dick. So that's the end of that story. So I didn't hang out with them that day. And uh, I don't like Juggalos and whoop, whoop. There we go. And that gave me just enough time. Does it have to be animated pan or can it be Monga for your inspiring? Sure, sure buddy. Longest fine. Okay. So if is cool then absolutely. A Ken from sunken rock if he's dope here. You've read that, right? Yeah. How about you? Pam? Have you read that? Oh, I, I think we all have.
Speaker 7:
43:30
No, I haven't read it yet. Yeah, I have
Speaker 4:
43:33
right until, like late last year. But it's just like there's like a panel in it where he's out doing his morning training because like the, the story spans like years and years and like his character is just about getting better every day. Like it's not an overnight process. So it's kind of like almost a really giant metaphor for power lifting if you will. And it's just like small incremental changes will eventually take you to where you want to be as a person. And there's this panel where he's like training in the morning and he's like, the only thing we have in this life that's truly are is this body that we train every day and it's just one of those things where like, yeah, if I'm having a shitty day and I will try like, like I don't like try and hit prs on the big three every time I go to the gym.
Speaker 4:
44:16
But I do try and pr something every single time I go to the gym, like I'll throw in a random accessory that I haven't done in awhile just because like I want to everyday I want to be better than myself yesterday and I don't know if that's necessarily a great way to win competitions. But it's a good way for me to stay motivated because like my goal is always I'm competing against myself. Like obviously if I can be better than other people in similar circumstances, that's cool. That's icing on the cake. But really the only one that I want to be better than his me yesterday. That's my goal. Anytime I go to the gym and just in life in general, like I just want to be better than me yesterday. I like it and some can rock does that, that's the best. That's not the best, but it's a really good market and that's a great character.
Speaker 7:
45:06
Um, I would, it's like, so there's like certain scenes from like an and stuff that will make like literally make my hair rise on my arms because I'm like getting like this is so good and motivating. But I guess if I could pinpoint a character as a recent, um, it probably be Medallia, um, from my hero just because, um, I feel like a lot of average, like myself, bodybuilders can identify with his plight in that. Like he was like quick, Liz, like genetically not the best and he wanted to essentially be like all my biggest hero and stuff. So he starts off quick list but still is going for his dream and just seeing him progress through it. I think the enemy is really good at showing his body developing like from the first season to now, like he's actually got a decent build now.
Speaker 7:
46:04
And that's not even from like getting a quirk, it's from like him fucking lifting weights and stuff in the background and shit, always practicing and always just wanting to be better and I think I can buy with that real hard as of recent. Like I don't have, I wouldn't consider myself like, you know, fucking the best genetics ever. But I just, I would, don't you do a pretty good one. I would, I would counter that was saying I do a lot of work in the background to, to look like that. Like it mean just pulling from, you know, the only thing that I got was like I was 5:11 before I started this. But everything else like I've, I've like specifically intentionally trained but like it's extremely hard for me to get a shredded as travis looks like on the daily. Travis has like a really good core in separation in his abdominals and Serratus is outer wall of Pretty Nice. It's very, very sporty. Yeah. And if you can like I post my stage photos all the time. Like if you look, I mean I'm a little washed out, but in general like my ct is very hard to come in. Like I have to be
Speaker 7:
47:16
district is diet. I'm talking like I don't, I can't eat fast food, I can't eat anything off my diet plan, I have to be on cardio to look like that and then I can lose that look within four days. So it's like
Speaker 5:
47:30
really fucking hard. And so that's why, uh, I like memoria because he's, he's fucking doing it. Gives us hope. All the sad boy bodybuilders out there who want to look like they're, they're bodybuilding idol that probably inspired them. We're trying to be honest. So yeah, please don't want. Exactly. Whew. All right. Fuck it. Let's get into that then. What, what the fuck is your problem? I really don't though, like for why I don't hate him, but like he's too much of like a panty to me honestly. Is he a Pansy? Please give me, give me just an example like is being, is like every single time there's been a hostile situation, has he ever run away because he dumps into that? I get that every time. It's also true reasons why I don't like Goku like, okay, so now, now he's Goku like what? No, he has repercussions.
Speaker 5:
48:41
Like he's not as good. I don't like her demeanor. This is honestly just the biggest thing. I don't like them. Like those are two completely different personalities, but. But I think it's a similar reason why you don't like them. I know they're completely different heroes that I do. Like I like beat you go from bleach, use k from hockey. Show the arrogance because the level of not giving a fuck that makes them better. There's no, they're thick headed. Arrogant fucking teenagers. Both of those people you cited are like 15 and I think they're immortal, which they're built to be in their enemy. Wyoming. Doria starts off this little scrawny ass motherfucker and like every time rise to the occasion. His best phase was when he, when he was playing superheroes with his mom. After that you have no grounds for your argument.
Speaker 5:
49:35
Always rises to the occasion? No, like I'm shy. I like fucking Ichigo who's never had to fucking try. And then I like plucking, use gay who I actually use case really bad ass. But if you go like the first two, like what? Three, four seasons each ago didn't have to try a live like he went through, he went through hell and back together and he liked the small increases to does everything was like super, super power jumps. So it was Kinda like in the beginning though, did he ever lose you go, hey dude, dude, he didn't get come down a couple times. No saved Rukia with I think it is. I believe his eyes were closed the entire time and he was just kind of like, like people were just kind of
Speaker 2:
50:28
falling over and then fucking, uh, the hallow ego took over because he was dying himself. Lost that. And same thing with fucking, he got killed. Who? So when he was saving Rukia back, he was fucking beating him. And then that's why Hollywood you go took over because he was about to die and it wasn't full horns. He could take the mask off and he didn't have them as it was before that he didn't have the mess. Then. And then, and then when he became Boston Florida too, like when he was fighting to Kyoto, he died like legit died. That's the whole, that's why the vessel or that came out is the one you have the whole full bringing arc where he loses all his fucking powers and he's fucking fucking broken shell of a person on the floor. So I came on just to get some sort of resemblance of power back and he's free going through betrayal just to try to, just to hear a fucking like whisper a rookie in the end. Like I just say one thing I hate when enemies do resets like that. I hate. It drives me nuts. Let's just restart the enemy. Well, like for, for me, I, I have, I don't like that. But my biggest bone to pick with that is like Mckenzie was so bad as to you're going to make him that bad ass and then just take everything away after like after this was the one thing. It's like fuck man, you assholes.
Speaker 2:
51:51
You leave probably. He's like at least top for me at least, like at least top five main characters. You lead him fucking with nothing in broken. A big thing for me is like the strongest characters are like, like the, like the resilient ones that like when they're actually broken and kind of crying and shit. Like Shit. That shit. Like cutsey like ugly. Yeah. So to have him like a whole season of that and it's like Bro, fuck y'all guys. But at the same at least he had something at the end. So at least, I mean he had everything. If I could have lost everything, he couldn't even see his friends anymore. It's like Bro, you guys are assholes. Like imagine like if he had broken both his arms, like saving like a little kid who was going to die from the same person that killed his parents.
Speaker 2:
52:39
And then like the doctor was like, you can't, can't use jobs anymore buddy. That was it. Alex up to. Oh wait. Yeah, that's what happened to mature yet. Huh? Oh Damn. I guess my daughter has a bad ass to know who he is. What a Pansy for saving shitty. I'll clarify. He's not, he's not shitty, but as in like a character archetype. I'm not, I'm not a fan, I just don't like the type of character if it gets too. I'm just too wimpy for me. Okay. Like I'm not always on like the anti hero, like hype train, but like for, for, for a kid in this one I kind of am like, I like was my favorite on here and I'm not one of those antihero hype things where like I only like fucking the Gita, the, you know what I mean? Like it's. Yeah.
Speaker 7:
53:36
Actually my favorite character from my hero is showed up, the guy that has to consume sugar to get ultra strong. Like when that preworkout kicks in, that's my dude.
Speaker 2:
53:49
And then I spare like midnight because he's a fricking pervert.
Speaker 7:
53:53
Yeah. Who Do you like? Travis? Uh, I don't know his name, but the CEO guy that was in one episode. I just remember looking up and there's a Cla I don't really watch it take about shampoo guy and I don't know, there was an episode where they were on a boat seal with muscles. That's guy the one guy, ray ray, like really enjoyed the first two seasons of it, but like, I don't know, I could just never gotten into it so I don't know the characters that well. Okay. Yes. CEO Guy. Visually he does it for me and get behind that and I really hope that like if I look out my anime list and the character listings just. No, I think that's his name. Good. Good.
Speaker 2:
54:55
All right. So going on like continuing this kind of strand of thing because I've got this, I get this message or this question asked fairly fairly often, so as far as like training and all that stuff will keeps you motivated or do you find motivation or how do you stay motivated?
Speaker 7:
55:13
You want, you want to start paying? You want me to take this? I'll do it. Sure. Why not? I don't like how I look and it's a difficult thing. Like I'm never happy with how my physique is, I'm trying to be better about it, but at the same time is one of my motivators. It's like I look in the mirror like in the morning and I'm like, well this is too small. I need to work. This is a weak point. So then I'm like, well I want that to come up so I'll spend. I spent my whole off season last year working on my shoulders like every day after whatever, whatever body part was that day. I would spend an additional one to two movements strictly on my shoulders so that my shoulders could build up and it worked. I wouldn't say exponentially, but the very. I'm very happy with how they came out of my last showing like they're completely separated. Like each of the three heads of my shoulder separated when I cut down and it's beautiful and I'm like, okay, well now like this, this offseason. Like I look in,
Speaker 1:
56:24
look at it and I don't like my last. They don't come out as much. So I've been doing more emphasis. I, that's the whole reason I have actually switched into this powerlifting strength training blog is because two of the three, well all three movements actually really activate your back. So like I used to never deadlift. I would do like 3:15 for some reps, call it a day, do other bags, accessories, but now I'm doing fucking heavy sets of triples and stuff and I can really feel like my back is getting stronger and getting thicker and I want that thickness. So like one part of it is I don't like my body now is want to improve it. Another thing that keeps me motivated is I set short and long term goals. I do a bodybuilding show every two years because I feel like I don't grow fast enough to do one every year.
Speaker 1:
57:14
There's not enough time to like bulk cut within one calendar year to really. I've, I feel put on a decent amount of change from when you last went on stage and in bodybuilding, specifically classic physique where you have a weight limit to hold you to your height. Like you. There is a limit to where I don't know where I'm going with this, basically I'm trying to be the best I can at that weight limit and like I'm not even close to hitting that weight limit on stage yet. So it's like I still have a long way to go with that. So I have that longterm goal and in my short term goals would be like these cons that I've been going to, um, I'm like, I gotta cut down for that or I got to size up for this. Like so by setting short and longterm goals, it keeps me motivated in like, the, I got to keep doing this because this is how I want to look at these certain times kind of thing. It's all vanity. My entire motivation is vanity in that I want to look the best for me because I'm like that. So yeah, that's what motivates me is myself.
Speaker 4:
58:16
Love it, love it, love it, love it. Uh, was like, I really appreciate it. The point, and it's by no means do I like, not like the fact that lifting bodybuilding, powerlifting, like it makes you look closer to your aesthetic. The longer you do it in, the more you go about it. I get this question a lot too. Um, and I think my answer had noise people a lot, but the fact of the matter is, uh, I, I don't feel the need to stay motivated because I fucking like the gym. I really like going. I'm annoyed when I don't go. Like if I, if I work a really long day, you know, if I have like a 13 hour shift and like I'm like, Oh man, I'm going to like, just have time for GM. And then I got to go to sleep again for like not hate myself at work tomorrow.
Speaker 4:
59:03
I'm, I'm annoyed that I don't have enough gym time because I really, I just like being there. I like exercising and it's like even before I got into lifting, I, I liked running, like I do it because I enjoy the activity. It's like if someone asks, how do you stay motivated to fucking eat cake or you know, whatever your food is. Like, I don't need to be motivated. I like being in the gym, I enjoy lifting, I enjoy, you know, finding something that I couldn't do yesterday and now I can do it because I've worked at it long enough. So yeah,
Speaker 2:
59:35
motivation.
Speaker 4:
59:39
Um, I use anime characters to sometimes to motivate me. Like if I want to cosplay them, I'm like, oh, like that dude's aesthetic. I like that. Oh, he wears a dress. I'm all about that. And then like I'll try to be like cut down for that and usually almost results to cutting. I've never liked travis where I'm always lean all the fucking time. Oh. So, so this kind of relate to maybe if there's a um, like a more specific goal, like a number I'm trying to hit. I don't do it so much with, with lifting as I did when I was running. But like if I have a specific goal, like say I want to hit a five minute mile or like a sub five minute mile or something, I would always tell myself if I didn't do it, I'd make up this horrible scenario.
Speaker 4:
60:23
I'd be like, all right. Back when Nintendo was still alive and be like, all right, my Nintendo was my dog. I'd be like, all right, if I don't hit this mile in this time, Nintendo is gonna die and I make myself believe it. And I would motivate myself that way. I just create these horrible scenarios where if I didn't achieve whatever I wanted to do, this imaginary horrible thing would happen in like, that would actually kind of pushed me a little bit. But yeah, with, with lifting, I don't do that so much anymore because I've recognized that's insane and unhealthy. But I definitely did that for a long time. But a lot of people are like. I asked the same question because I'm. My biggest issue in powerlifting is aggression and it is such an important part of it. It seems even need a certain form of aggression to get your lifts up for some, like especially deadlifts, it seems almost everyone has some sort of like aggression they pulled to and I ask people, I'm like, how do you even get in that mind frame of like being aggressive towards like an inanimate object and pulling it as hard as you fucking can.
Speaker 4:
61:27
And most people that have responded to me all said think about all the bad shit that happened to you in the failures and the people saying you can't do it and use that fucking dark energy to fucking rip tissue from the ground. And I was like, Ugh,
Speaker 2:
61:44
can't. I'm not an aggressive of turtle. Like I'd never really have been A. I've tried that. It's just does it? It does, it doesn't do it for me. I'm pretty calm in general, but my demeanor in general is fairly calm. Yeah. Mike, I'm, yes. I'm pretty composed in general. Instead it goes to like for me, if I get too hyper, ah fuck up and for, for me it's like I'm pretty. I kind of just go, like go inside. I guess it's weird, even when I did the that for 15 triple, like the otter squats, like that was heavy as heaviest squatters injury, so it was kind of like, even though it was kind of like a joke thing, it was kind of a big one for me because I haven't touched that weight since that injury. So it's like take some time to frick in this is writing to do I need to do this and I, I guess the most I would do would be like don't be a bitch kind of thing to myself because I guess like a motivator for me.
Speaker 2:
62:41
Like in lifting and just anything in general, is that a really negative relationship with myself? I was like, I hate myself enough. I don't like myself. I don't like who I am. I don't like. I'm very self-loathing. He like, uh, I think that's where a lot of them. I said, well you should start from. I'm extremely self loathing and that aspect. So it's like, but I, I hate these parts of me enough to try to change him and lifting and stuffs and avenue to change that. So that as usually my motivator for that. So like when it is a bigger lift and everything like that, essentially I kind of doubt myself, don't fuck up. This is your chance like fucking dyke do it. I've done all this shit leading up to this, this is what I'm supposed to do. Like fuck, like follow through. Like you know, I don't pitch off all through and that's kind of like, I guess like the only thing I would kind of tell myself before I left, but other than other than that, like I really can't get super hyped. Like I've tried, it just doesn't. I don't know, like it doesn't seem genuine so doesn't really do anything for me. You know what I mean?
Speaker 4:
63:36
Yeah. Like for people that like lyft angry, like definitely some people can do it and I see how it works for some people but it's your natural demeanor is more calm. Like yours is or like I think all three of us are like not particularly crazy angry people. So like it is like you'd be faking the anger. It's like it's, it's not from a genuine place. So like you have to have to lift in a way that matches your, your genuine, like you have to be honest with yourself, you know, so if you're a calm person, I remember Dave Tate did a video where you said like on his heavy lifts he feels like he's in the void and that was, I thought a really good way to describe it because like, especially on like squats for me, if it's something heavy when I'm like letting the weight really like sink into my heels and I really just zone out completely. Especially if it's like a double or like if it's a single, I'm zoned out. Like I'm not thinking about anything because if I go in angry like I won't, I'll lose form and like I'm going to snap my shit up so I don't want to. I don't even want to try lifting angry.
Speaker 7:
64:37
Yeah. The only thing that I think has been really motivated from a recently has probably been like I'll get, allow Michelle to watch and it's kind of weird, but no, that's weird. I'm like, who doesn't want their life to notice them lifestyle. I'm like, Hey, come, this is like, you know, you know, a heavy set for me, I need you over here. So she doesn't. She's like, okay. And she comes over and talking to my ear a little bit. She's like, come on just, you know, fucking movie. Like it's easy for you, you know, and it's just. But it's only her if it's her talking to you then like it's good, but if my bros or whatever, it's just, I can't take it seriously. You say that now, but
Speaker 1:
65:18
I'm gonna I'm gonna. Nibble your ear lobes on your next bit. You're going to, you're going to hit some numbers you didn't know you could at that. The, the, the, the, the Michelle toggle was getting me prs weights. Get the icepack chats. You, you just, you just wait. It gets on that ice. Bear says, well in my ear,
Speaker 2:
65:41
but I can definitely see that because even like on that smile, even when I was talking to someone that was like, you know, even like texting them and they gave me encouraging words and shit. The next step was always better. You know, what it means to kind of like a little boost in confidence. But what I can say though is like I have lifted angry before when I was like genuinely angry and it's pretty nice. Goes up because like I guess more because it's more Cathartic, right? Absolutely. It was pretty cool. But I can make myself get to that point. Not Naturally.
Speaker 1:
66:10
I guess I will accidentally piss off Michelle before we go to the gym. Um, it's happened more than once and it just happens that like, she, she actually tprs those days, like I'm not even bullshitting. Like she, I will piss her off just even a little bit and she won't talk to me when she's in the gym, but she's more focused and like black, it just destroys it. And then like, after that she's cool with me.
Speaker 2:
66:37
So come December. You got to piss her off before her.
Speaker 1:
66:41
I got to do it unintentionally. That's the thing. Like she accidental, it won't be hard. Trust me, I will. Fuck, I'll fuck up. I will fuck up somehow on the drive
Speaker 2:
66:54
by like a, uh, one of those restaurants that has a bar so a girl can ask you, what are you drinking again?
Speaker 1:
67:01
It will, it will not take much
Speaker 2:
67:07
situation just because I was watching. Right. Because I was right next year. All right. Yeah. And it wasn't even like I've done. I did absolutely nothing. What actually happened was that girl, she had like eight shots and farber first set of set the scene the. Okay. All right. So we had a, we had went to this bar that the sister was a bartender at and this was after, this was after my show. So at Ted show him he already had like three or was it like three or maybe four? I don't know. I know red bull vodka. Yeah. Was already feeling herself. She's already feeling good, right? Yeah. And we did that and then. So we moved to that bar for vinny. Sister was at, he was already drunk. She's like dancing or random places and Jeez, you know, just enjoying life. She's feeling it. She's feeling herself.
Speaker 2:
68:06
Who Send me and pastor standing at the bar, right. Pants aren't really paying attention and I'm Kinda just like people watching because I'm bored, right? Yeah. Is behind us with dre and reverend that I kind of just like randomly dancing. Yeah. There's a girl standing next to us, which is actually. She was part of a little group. There was like eight, at least eight shots in front, like in front of her. And she was buying ground right for people. So she looked over to us and says, what are y'all drinking? Ilo? Can I have to say anything in a pan? Goes like, just water. And she's like, okay. And that was it. Was it literally that? Right? Because she's already flying around. I think she was being nice or cool and buying, you know, because the next to the point we turned around and you just see like death stare, you see a human death stare and you can see like kind of annoyed. Pouty Lips, you know what I mean? The company a death stare. Kimo was out for blood. She looks like she's looking at. She's looking at her and you can tell all the negative things are being said to the stair. Yeah, yeah, it was. It was pretty. It was. It was a thing.
Speaker 2:
69:19
It was funny as hell because it was like, it was so nothing bad at all. It was like she wasn't feeling pattern, but it was just like, it's like I couldn't have done anything different and it been my fault. I'm just like walking back into to set and because the universe is funny too. It also, while we were walking into another room, pan had got stopped by another person who is talking to turns out to be like a friend, sister or whatever, but none of us knew that. So we all get to the other room. I'm standing next to him and she sees you talking to that girl who's your sister? And she's like, who's that? She pulls me in for a hug and walked into the room. She was going to give her the hug. Only context is oh, pans in this other room. This girls hugging her, him or her in Russia. I don't judge again.
Speaker 5:
70:22
And so, and then I think, I don't know if he listened to the conversation or I just told her the conversation later because she was mocking it because the girl is like, Oh, I've been, I see your uh, your instagram is like inspirational, like just I, you know, just something small like that. Then 30 minutes in my ear like, oh my God, you're so inspirational. Is that the Vulcan snorlax and for
Speaker 2:
70:57
it was great. And we went to and then we went to a diner and he made it a pancake and she passed out on the table, passed out, lights out is done. It was great. Um, so that's what motivates me in the gym.
Speaker 5:
71:18
Yeah.
Speaker 2:
71:20
Alright. So this is going to be a little segment that I'm going to be trying to do with everybody and it's going to be a rapid fire, either this or that or just random question that you got to just answer off the cuff, beat an enemy and maybe lifting related. I'm not too sure. I have guys ready.
Speaker 5:
71:40
Yes. For both of us, I'm going to do a separate set for, for each one of the. But I just want to make sure that both of you are already gone. I'm prepared. I'm going first. Okay. I'm going first. Okay. Favorite enemy? Cowboy. Bebop. Who's your husband? A panda. Ooh, good answer. Good answer. I like that. I'm a mom. Mom. Paid paper out of the big three. Lifting wise. A bench. How much do you bench top white. Oh. Oh God. Arena. From what? From what? Loving lies. You're a jerk.
Speaker 2:
72:29
I'm just making sure I was actually surprised that she was one of your tops because the other goes best girl. Anyways.
Speaker 5:
72:35
Who Do you mean? Martha? But wait, who do you like more? Go back really quick. My wife who's. I'm curious. Did I mess up then? I picked the wrong license. Now it's not as perfect because you can have her because I want the other one. Alright, cool. So it matches perfectly beautiful. And you said Martha? Martha. That's my main to what was, what was getting the black outfit was my favorite because it's metal. I just stick with standard. I like, I like his plane. Plane, plane, plane, know me. Pan. Favorite Yogurt. Full metal alchemist. Brotherhood. Who is your husband to the bears? To timer. I'm a slut. Top life. My food. And he made this account. Oh Shit. Uh, uh, Hallot Bell from bleach. What's scary?
Speaker 5:
73:45
Traps that gay bro. So traps traps aren't gay. Oh, traps get. Yeah. Traps with my gay. At what point are traps gay? No points. Any. I mean to be fair, like a trap isn't gay until you have one. Okay. You confirmed the penis then if you. Anything further than that is gay. Do you think that the travelers are gay or like you were trapped to the trap, but what if the APP itself isn't gay? So would that make the chaps? I agree. Look, anyone can identify it's 2018. They can be identified. Student. Are you a male? Interacts with a trap beyond after having the knowledge of the penis is gay. I'm sorry. Here's your suspicion as the bulge. Not Gay because it could be just, you know, large vagina happens all the time, but as soon as the very large, large Mons pubis, sure. But you see, you know the erection and full face in your face and your mouth. Gay, is that the hard line when the erection that's done your faith. That's what it's gay. Who did you mean? A super smash brothers? A solid snake.
Speaker 8:
75:23
Leopard. Clifford Leopard.
Speaker 5:
75:28
I, I missed. Sometimes you just don't want a big red dog. Tobacco Kirby did you never mean Clifford Snake Creek where you said you did street fighter competitively. Who? Ge Is Ken? A mega. Mega. Mega is cool. I mean Vegas and street fighter for street fighter. A third strike. I Made Hugo to turbo. It's like a toss up between like Faye long in a vague. Again, I will almost always mean the character that I think looks the coolest I hear. Did you ever play, did you do, did you ever like playing marvel versus Capcom to two and three? Yeah. What was your team? Uh, it was Silver Samurai. He was always there. Um, probably captain America and then um,
Speaker 8:
76:32
cool.
Speaker 5:
76:34
The third person was always a tossup. But uh, who, who is it? Jen Is Jen, the guy who has like the bad ass one piece, white suit on and like a would call upon that Mech. I think his name is Jen j I a n, I'm not too sure about that guy. What about you? What about you? I spare.
Speaker 5:
76:58
I mean, I mean my interaction with that game is watching you play it at the arcade that aix. Uh, so I don't know, insert three x men if there's three of them in there. There's three. Yeah. I forgot how much I love that game until we, I was playing in iround. One was in it for a long time. Yeah, he's in. I picked wolverine is a collage assist in it. Do you want bone clause or do you want an Amancio clause? Adamantium for sure. Okay. Yeah. Costless is in it. A colossus too. And then how about Gambit [inaudible] gambit in it? Yep. Actually there's three. There's three of me. My, my team is gambit venom and Ben in this war machine that I want them. Yeah. Then it's cool man. It's cool as shit dude. What do you want a haven't seen him for? I don't watch trailers for movies. I want to see. Well, and one of the trailers he talks about ripping off a guy's arms and legs and eating their face off, so it's pretty cool. Okay. Yeah, I mean I'm going to see it. I'm pretty sure to watch it. It's the first comic book movie I'm excited about and since the punisher. Speaking of comic book movies, what is your favorite comic movie go
Speaker 8:
78:23
punisher.
Speaker 5:
78:25
Dark Knight. You Dark Knight rises or? Yeah, the dark night. That's actually a really good onto line is the watchman. So watchman. The first time I saw it I really, really enjoyed it. Every time after it gets worse for me now I feel the same way. About $300. Like the first time I watched it, like 310. I agree with the $300, but the watchman it, I haven't watched it in awhile and I watched it again today and I love it still. I just where I love the realness I just liked to seen were all like, you are not locked in here with A. I'm not logged in here with you all here are locked in here with me or some shit like that when he's in prison. That's like my scene that I think is bad ass. But I think like sands, uh, Dr Manhattan, I don't like Kim portrays like he's cool though. I hate his name. Yeah. I think it portrays like kind of one of the most realistic what would happen if like superheroes were a thing? Yeah.
Speaker 1:
79:27
I liked the ruggedness and the realness of it and like the whole good guys being bad, like shades of gray shit. Like there's no black and white and like the breakdown of Russia because he's like, so there's only good and only evil kind of character and then like people that are like the greater good like sacrifice three to save $3 million kind of thing. So I mean it play, it's just, it goes on so many levels and I think it's one of the best soundtracks at any movie ever.
Speaker 5:
79:56
I think the only, the only comic book movies that I actually like is like the first punisher. Yeah, that one's good. And then like the dark knight? No, hold on. Wait, when you say first, do you mean the eighties one with all fondren you mean like the. Of course that's the one he means or do you mean like the 2000 to one with like Thomas Jane and John Travolta.
Speaker 2:
80:19
I forgot I saw it on fucking with my uncle. That's kind of okay. But I'm going to go with the 2001 because eighties one reminds me of like eighties hulk. You know, it's cheesy but it's like a good cheesy. But like as far as just like watchability where it's like a [inaudible] it will be the first in this fucking millennia.
Speaker 5:
80:48
Alright. I love that one too. I just wanted to make sure we're talking about the same. I love that guitar character like that, that kind of almost like first hitman bill and they send after him. The dude that plays the, the Johnny Cash looking motherfucker.
Speaker 2:
81:03
Oh he's all like you're one dumb motherfucker bringing a knife to a gun fight in his throat.
Speaker 5:
81:09
That dude. Yeah. Cause like he was, he goes into that diner with his fucking guitar and like fucking strums and like a death song and then like just leaves, doesn't even talk to her. Then like a fucking car. Chase ensues and they both have bad ass cars. It's just, hey, since since you got to both pose rapid fire questions, here's one for you guys. What is caring? Caring is the act of caring is a lane you do an indecent act inside of a car is it really wasn't caring and I really like read it. God, it was probably carrying. Because honestly I don't even remember the card and fiasco other than you asked him, what are you bringing it up is the only recollection I have of that know what you're talking about because look like, here's the. Here's the only reason why I don't think it's carrying. Like even though like signs point to maybe it was carrying. I remember specifically you guys said, wait until you come to Texas and we'll explain what coring is. But it in the context of how we talk, it could most definitely be carrying. [inaudible] were saying you haven't felt this kind of care from another person before you've come to Texas, but it was proceeded by talking about how Texas is the only place where you're going to have gun racks and trucks and shit. So I think it was still automobile related.
Speaker 2:
82:59
Well, Texas is also a place where you can own otters and Carry Samurai sword. So you know,
Speaker 5:
83:05
I want you guys to think a little harder about what bothers me. Every time I have I feel bad because by now it's too late. It's lost in the archives of the chat. Like there's, we can't recover it. You like, that's not an option. So you're wanting us to recall a memory that only holds dear to you. Left that in the past. No idea what the fuck you talking about. Anything about carding other than the time you brought it up before we carry on this or that. All right, so do the closing section, segment thing, right? What are the bears up to? And work in defined the bears. Kill it. Travis.
Speaker 4:
84:05
Wait, what did you say? What are we up to?
Speaker 5:
84:07
What is the biggest issue right now and where can they find the bears? Like social media wise?
Speaker 4:
84:13
Oh, oh yeah, absolutely. Bears up to. What am I up to you ask? Uh, I'm normally working in our local animal shelter, turning bad dogs into good dogs and good dogs into better dogs. And when I'm not there, I'm in the gym or playing with my husks and you can see any ice bear related stuff at, you know, what? Don't even, don't even try and look up underscore and underscore, underscore, underscore, underscore underscore it. And just look up a bulk and underscore snorlax x
Speaker 5:
84:45
and find me through his shit. Hookup that Senpai strength and I'm in one of those videos and then that'll work better for you guys. I expect I spare out. He just hung up. My favorite part is going to like edit all my lapsed out. So it's just going to seem like an asshole fed after everything you say. Everyone's like damn. Like travis is just a cold motherfucker. I'm gonna knock this one out of the park and knocking out of the pocket pan. Okay. Hey guys. Hand Pan here. And when I'm not talking on the bear Tay Podcast, you can find me at, uh, at Nisha, my, it's m I, s h
Speaker 7:
86:04
a, m, a I, or on my own personal igg, Vulcan underscore snorlax. You don't want to miss out. I've got great content including cross play, cosplay, bodybuilding motivation, and just some fun videos of hanging out in my gym. And you can find me there and nowhere else pan out. That sounds very, very rehearsed. Yeah, I have. I wrote it out and everything. And I looked in the mirror when I said it, like the different, like the fluctuations in your voice, like the tone changes, like in different colors. And you can tell his shoulders were drawn back and he's like sitting very upright and my hair's all done like naked.
Speaker 3:
86:52
Great Day.
